My Ideal Western breakfast

In a warm summer morning, nothing beats a bowl cereal with cold milk and a coffee. A piece of pastry would be nice as well.

If I am in LA, nothing beats a piece of fried chicken with waffles at Roscoe.

If I am in the Southern States, Biscuits with white gravy, waffles and coffee

If I am meeting with friends for cheap breakfast in Vancouver, nothing beats the breakfast special at Bon's off Broadway.

If I am camping, fried eggs, bacon, potato fried in bacon grease, toast and a bottle of beer

If I am not afraid of gaining weight, Corn Beef Harsh, over easy eggs and toast with a coffee.

If I woke up from passing out at a party, cold pizza and almost flat beer

If I am having breakfast with my son, IHOP. Seriously, he prefers Dim Sum over western stuff.
Otherwise, pancakes, fried eggs, sausages, harsh brown and toast with a cup of coffee.

If I could, I will eat breakfast food all day.

my ideal burger meal

I love food. i realised that I have been wanting to eat more. When I get home at night, I just want to eat. I want something new every night. Of course, I don't always want the healthy stuff.

I have been craving for a hamburger and fries. If I were to consume that, I want to eat the best. I am not going to ingest a ton of calories with a bunch of crappy burger. I have been looking for the best burger in Vancouver. Many have suggested that I should try Modern Burger. I haven't tried it yet, because i don't want to travel 40 minutes.

My ideal burger would have a juicy patty. The patty has to taste like meat. I want more than just ketchup and mustard. I want fresh tomato and lettuce and onion. I want cheese. The bun has to be soft and not flaky. The fries cannot be overly salty. I would use Ketchup, but I prefer ranch dressing.

Most people want sodas with the hamburger meal, but I prefer a non-sweeten ice tea.

Headline - my relationship status

Lately, a few of my friends are getting into serious relationship and I am still single. A few people had asked me what is my type.

It is easy to say that I am looking for an open minded person but what exactly is open mind. I would rather to look for some one with a similar mind than some one with an open mind. I am not going to meet some one and to train that person to share similar view on things.

Music is still a big part of my life. I seriously don't think a country music lover will be able to stay in my life long. because I can't put up with that kind of music. I won't tolerate my partner to call my music as crap.

I am back to thinking about that 5% of the population.

Voting by idiots

To properly engage in the political process, the voters must be educated about the process and the candidates that they are voting for. It is a very dedicate process as the voters are going to elect representatives to lead the nation and to voice their opinions in the government. It is not a easy job and voters need to know the platform. It should not be a popularity process.

However.

Most elections are won by popular candidates and not by the people that will lead the nation. The voters can be dumb and ignorant. They will do stupid things to get their candidates and that includes using lies to attack the candidates that they didn't like.

I have a similar story:

March 2007: I got the idea of learning to ride

July 2007: Turned 35.

Oct 2007: I bought a Kawasaki Ninja 500R and took the course at BC Safety Council. The weekends were wet and I learnt a lot.

November2007: I spend the month riding the bike because my car broke down. I had a few mediation sessions in Langley with my ex-wife, I was riding on hwy every other day.

December 2007: Got a ticket for being a night rider

January 2008: Got private insurance with Beacon

March 2008: Failed my first road test because of nervousness. Still, I was told that I had great balance on the bike.

April 2008: Started to ride with a group of new riders that I met on meetup.com

May 2008: Passed my class 6.

Summer 2008: I rode with a bunch of new friends and started to realise the limitation of the 500cc.

September 2008: upgraded to a ZX-6R. I bought her off a new father. soon realise the awesome power and corning ability of a real sport bike.

October 2008: I bought a new helmet and I am auditioning for a passenger

Vancouver Kiltw night

I have been involved in orgainising the Vancouver kilts night for the last 2 years and I am tired of it. It was fun at first, but the idea had grown old. I don't even care in attending them either. I start to feel like that it is an obligation for me to attend. I don't know what it will take for me to rethink my recent feeling.

Hockey Moms

It is interesting to watch the US election. Sarah Palin is a just a piece of work. She is the funniest Candidates in any democratic countries. I specially enjoyed the fact that she try relates to the Hockey moms in the US.

Hockey moms, eh?? Is she really that out of touch with middle America? She will never win if she is counting the on the hockey moms to vote for her. Come on, Sarah Palin, most Americans have no respect for the sport of hockey. There may be a hockey team in Arizona, but it is partly owned by the Great One and his wife is probably the sole Hockey mom in Phoenix.
