New ride

After all the talk about replacing the Volvo, I bought myself a new toy. I brought home a 1990 Honda CRX. It's black and her name is Raven.

I have never had a car like this before. I am pleased with the purchase. I am just going to drive the car and drive it to the ground. And then I will replace the engine with a VTEC motor and a new transmision.

Tired - after a week of work

I am tired after a week of full time work at an agency. That's because I have lots to do on top of my job. I am finally home for rest today. I will be having breakfast at home and watching some tv.

More Car talk.

So the talk about trading the Volvo in for a 2 door Acura has officially stalled. I will wait until next year to do it. It is because I still need a 4 door sedan this year. I have the wedding this summer and family will be here to visit. I know that I can rent a bigger car for the two weeks, but I rather now.

I also have been experiencing a new way of driving. I am going to take it easy with acceleration and it pays off. I am getting more miles out of a tank of gas. I will probably take off my roof rack as well.

Took control of my life

So I decided to work on getting contracts last Monday and I did. I started to focus my practice on Real Estate Professionals. So I started to send out emails to real estate companies and Mortgage providers. Within days, I was able to set up a few meetings with people. I was glad that as I was moving along.

Then on Thursday, I got a call from an agency because they are interested in meeting with me. I felt good as they want to meet me this Wednesday morning. I was excited as my leads didn't dry up.

I went on another meeting on Friday, it went well. I got back home at around 11am. I did some writing and my phone rang again. IT was the company that I have met 3 weeks ago. I wasn't sure that I wanted to take it. I was going to let it go to the voicemail. Instead, I picked it up. I was informed that the reference check went well and they are going to offer me a job.

We scheduled a meeting on Wednesday afternoon. I hope that it will be a good offer.
