Gung Haggis Fat Choy Dinner

The food was good and the haggis was tasty.

However, Floata's service was not acceptable.

1. We didn't get the Hoshin Sauce for the wrap
2. Most dishes didn't come with serving spoon.
3. We had to look for a knife to cut open the haggis.
4. The presentation of the Crispy Chicken was terrible. The chef just tossed the chicken pieces back to the plate without trying to make it look like a chicken. I suspected that the Chef had pocketed a few pieces for himself. Not acceptable.
5. They failed to give us clean plates after each course.
6. They failed to bring us rice bowls for the fried rice.
7. They should not have brought out the mango pudding in a plate. Every guest should get a serving of the mango pudding in a clean bowl with a spoon.
8. The oil that used for frying the taro basket passed its prime. The oil was ready to turn into biodiesel.
9. I don't know whether they paid any attention while cleaning the new glasses. I noticed a sticker was still intact with a wine glass.
10. When a waiter took away an empty plate, he simply tossed the serving spoon to another plate of the food. Not acceptable.

A Rebirth

I just summited my resignation letter and I am free to run my own business.

I am going back to start up my business again, because I have not been happy with what I have been doing. I know that by running my own business, I can do just as well as working for a company. I will work just as hard and with more passion.

For this time around, I will be much more successful because I have more experience. I know what it takes to be successful in work and in life.

It is all about being passionate about things. I am knowing what I want in life and I want to get ahead. working for other people just can't help me to do what I need to do. I am too much of an individual and I have too much pride. My experience and talent will help me to go a long way, if I focus on what my craft is.

I am a recruiter and that's what I want to do. It is more than just a job. It is a career and I am passionate about it. I am launching 242 Recruitment Services. I will help my clients to land the right people.

I am back.

how colour affected my life

I am a visual person and I need to get stimulated by my surrounding. Some people may not understand it, but I realised that a while ago. Without visual stimulation, I can be very unmotivated.

With my current work, the office is not very stimulating. Yes, I am very spoiled by my previouse work. My work isn't bright and messy. The wall is grey and the lighting isn't the best.

I need to work in an area where the colour is bright. When I worked at Adecco, the place was yellow. I love it. I wanted to go to work. It stimulates me.

My New Year's Eve Celebration

I had load of fun on New Year's Eve. I didn't do much, but I spend the night with a few good friends and no stranger. It was great.

I started the night by having sushi and continued by going to a friend's house.

We had more than a few drinks. I brought along 4 beer and a bottle of sparkling wine. However, I was at Mike and Rich's place and there are always alcohol. Rich was serving Shooters the whole night. He was mixing up Jolly Rancher and Dr. Pepper. They were awesome. It was a night to remember. He was also serving up sausage rolls with the drinks.

We played a few round of Poker. We didn't play for money. It was just for fun. money wasn't the issue. It was good company.

For the rest of the evening, we played Rock Band. We rocked out.

We toasted at midnight with champagne and sparkling wine. That followed with Cigars. I brought along a few Cuban Cigarellos and they were pretty good.

I had fun and what a way to start 2009
