Long weekend

I love my job and I can't wait until my long weeknd to star today at 4:30pm. I am freaking tired as I haven't had the rested feeling for a few weeks. I have been on the go and haven't had a day that I just stayed home with nothing to do. I need to stay home for a bit to recharge.

YEs, I am one of those people that don't want to take vacation. for me, vacation means that I want nothing to do with anything. I don't wanna pack, un pack and wait at transport points. I just want to stay home and ride my bike. Hopefully, I will be doing that this weekend.

Rio Tinto Alcan Festival

After a weekend of racing, I have transformed myself from a dragon boat paddler to Hardcore Dragon Boat Racer. I can no longer enter step into a boat without trying to paddle at a high level. I no longer paddle just because it is something to do. With every Stroke, I just want to move the boat faster than I could yesterday.

I used paddle with a recreational team and the team just want to race. They don't really care about what level that they compete in as they don't want to work harder. They don't want to push themselves. They just want to meet up and do something together. I am a racer and when I get into a boat I want to win. I want to go fast. I want to move to a higher class .

With my current team the coach is pushing us and he will even tell us the truth to motivate us. We are all adult on the team and I hate it if he sugar coats his message. Just tell me straight up.

I just myself an athlete now as I play and compete in multiple sports.
