Personal Ads revisited

So, I am checking out personal ads again. Some of them are just crazy, but at least the women are crazy. They want a man with, a car, a job, a home and money to spend on them. I may be old fashion to a certain degree, but I am not into gold diggers. I have bitten once by a woman like that, and I am not going back.

I will not go out with a woman who has intention to spend the money in my wallet. This is something that I am not willing to do. I will treat her with respect, and that's all. If she wants something, she can spend her money.

Some women admit that they like to shop in expensive shop. That's cool because I have crossed them off.

So, What kind of women interest me?

  • Independent
  • one with tattoos and pier
  • one who have a job and not looking to leech on some one
  • one who has ambitious in life
  • one who has a style and doesn't blend in
  • one likes motorcycle
  • one likes to be outdoor
  • one doesn't scare easily
  • One has good hygiene
  • one who like her man in kilt
  • some one who like to eat
  • one who is adventurous
  • one who has common sence

Value of education part 2

Education is not going to make you conform to the society. In fact, it makes you think by learning new things. it is more than passing the test by reading and quoting the book. We are doing it because we are trying to bring our thought process to the next level. We are doing it because we want to learn new idea and to exchange ideas with our fellow school mates. Learning is more than reading. It is an experience and a time for us to think, to learn and to grow.

It is true that we don't stop learning or growing. We learn new things and to grow our mind. We need to expose to new ideas and to create new ideas of our own. We learn to be more open minded and to learn about how things work.

As side from theories, we also learn a lot of practical things as well. We learn how to write, how to communicate and how to express our idea. We learn math that will help us in our daily lives. We learn about history and politics because we want to learn about where we come from and how our system works. We learn about physics, chemistry and biology because they surround us everyday. All these subjects are going to expand our mind and make us to be a better person.

I feel bad for the people who put education down. I am educated in a few school systems and none of them is perfect, but I learnt a lot from each of them. Secondary education is the best as I have exposed to lots of new people and ideas.

There are things that you can learn from the school, like technical skills. They are important for us because we live in a world that we do little things to contribute to the overall health of the society. Specialisation is the key but some people don't believe that. We already out grew the hunter and gatherer society. We need corporations and other businesses to do well. I careless what people say about big company pushing small businesses out. This is just part of the game. You wise up or you could be eliminated.

School opened my mind to ideas like that. There are always ways to be an individual without conforming to the norm

Value of education

I have a conversation about the value of education with a friend yesterday. She doesn't see the value of it. She is a high school drop out and she is smart. However, she doesn't understand why employers don't want to give her a chance. It is hard to make her understand because her mindset isn't there. She thinks education is a waste of her time and money.

It pisses me off a little. She thinks that she can accomplish just as much as a college graduate. but she doesn't realise that College graduates like to hire other college graduates. It is because they have something in common. People can share stories together.

College is also a place for people to exchange ideas, to learn and to grow. I am not saying that all college grads are mature, but they arm with knowledge that will help them unlock a new level of life. They would realise that the adulthood is going to be around the corner.

There is a certain level of maturity that she is lacking. I am not asking to conform, but to accept that education is good for her.

I am tired

I am home from work. I am tired.

My long Weekend Part 1

It had been an extra long weekend for me. At least, I feel that way.

I helped a friend move on Saturday morning. She needed help with moving boxes and furniture to a storage bin. It wasn't long, but only 2 hours worth. It was fun, and I got some exercise. The boxes were not heavy, but I had to walk up and down a few stairs.

I went home afterward to rest up for the Evening outing after I went shopping for a pair of jeans and some shirts. I haven't bought jeans for a while. I needed new pairs because I will probably need them for work. I also need a fresh pair to look good while I am on my bike.

To my surprise, I didn't have to shop long. I only took me a few tries before I found the perfect fit. I also got some new shirts because they will look great with my new jeans. If I look good, I feel good and I will do good.

I got the stuff home and rested on my bed before I head out to the firework in my new jeans.

The ride out to the firework was easy. It was the easiest way to travel to downtown. Parking was easy. I got there around 7:45 and I quickly found a spot on Davie and Burrard. It was easy.

The firework was great and my friend got a great spot by the water. It was close the barge. We hung out, and watched the great display of firework.

I didn't leave downtown until 3 because I went to a friend's place before ending the night by going to Sanctuary for an hour.

I slept for a few hour before heading back out on my bike. I went to a friend's place for lunch before heading out to the Pride Parade.
