The problem
with my cycling programme is that I don't know how to just ride. Most of my rides are done with a purpose to
keep myself in shape and for competing in numerous sporting events. I focus on training and most rides are done
with a computer/GPS/HRM because I wanted to keep track on my training progress. I use my gps to record my races and compare
the data with the previous years.
After many
years of training and riding for competition, I decided that I need to just
ride. I shouldn't just prepare my bikes
for training and racing, The problem is
that I just don't know how. I went through a phase of free riding with a 5 inch
full suspension bike. I shuttled and I
rode mountain bike park in the summer.
After 2 seasons of riding those heavy weight machine, I went back to the
basic. I rode hard tail again and I also
picked up cyclocross racing.
2013 is a
much different year as I am burning out from training on the water for Dragon
Boat Racing, but I still want to retain certain level of fitness because I want
to compete in some triathlons for fun.
