Season for Apple or BlackBerry

It is my time to figure out what is in season, Blackberry or Apple.

I have been using the iPhone for the last few months, but I am still convince that it is for me. It is a great toy as I see it. If I actually use the apps for gaming or other useless adventures, I will be nuts about it. I don't use lots of them as I don't have the time to visit the app store to see what is available. I don't care much for them as most of them are not free. I am just too cheap to get any of them. I use my phone to connect with people and that's all I do. The battery life isn't the greatest either.

iPhone is a great little toy, but I don't really see myself going nuts about it. I thought that I would be using the iPod function more, but I have not in reality. I don't use it much because of the battery life. my old iPod has a great battery life and I can use it for many hours before I need to charge it. If I use the iPhone like I use my iPod, I would need to charge it after a 12 hour use. I just want something to be ease of use.

On the other hand, Blackberry is great. Great battery life even with the Push email. That's something iPhone can never touch. The real clicking keyboard is just awesome. I can type faster and without worrying about anything. Blackberry also have better connection with the Bluetooth headset. With Rogers wireless, I can hook up to the network and use the Wifi to make calls from my Blackberry.

I guess iPhone is out. I just have to call Rogers Wireless and make the switch.

I've never had an iPhone, but I'm currently planning on getting rid of my Blackberry and picking up one of Google's new phones. Blackberry software includes lots of apps you will never use, but since they are packaged with the operating software, you're stuck with them taking up space on your phone, and that limits the number of additional apps you can download. I will say, though, that the e-mail function is great, and a lot of the popular apps on Blackberry are free.
