Stranded in Toronto

We got to the Toronto Airport last night and our connecting flight to Sudbury was cancelled due to snow. What could we do? We found a hotel and had to stay over night. We are heading to the airport in about an hour or so. We are hoping to get an earlier flight, instead of the 9:40pm flight that they had booked us on. If we don't get on an earlier flight, we may have to wait in the airport for 14 hours........
