Non-Caucasian charactors on TV show

How Can that be? I was watching Killer Instinct last night and I got so mad about the casting of the Chinese Actors on the show. Sure they are Asian, but they couldn't speak Cantonese if their lives depended on it. The chinese lines that came our of their mouths are spoken very badly. Killer Instinct is a Vancouver filmed show and I have a hard believing that they couldn't find a capable Chinese actor here. If the casting agents did their work, they would have recruited the retired Chinese ACtors from Hong Kong.

TV shows really suck when it comes down to casting Asian charactors.
