My Crazy Thanksgiving Weekend

It was Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada and it has to be one the craziest weekend I had in years.

We left for Armstrong, BC, on Sunday evening. The drive was fine until we got a flat tire at 12am. Unfortunately, I don't have a tire iron in my trunk. We had to call a tow truck to help us. fortunately, an employee from Department of Highway showed up and he loan us a tire iron. It took me 10 minutes to complete the change and we were on the road again with the temporary spare tire. When we got to Armstrong, it was 4am. I took out my sleeping bag and fell in sleep.

On Monday morning, we took the car to Canadian Tire to repair the tire. Although I didn't purchase the tire from them, they repaired my tire for fee. this tire didn't give me anymore trouble on the way back.

We were going to leave on Monday night, but we were too tired, and we decided to leave on Tuesday.

We were on the road by 9 and we took a shorter way.

After 3 hours of driving, the thermostat gave out and it cracked the radiator. We called the tow truck again. Within 30 minutes, a tow truck with a toothless driver showed up. He hooked up my 'Roo and towed her to a run down looking shop in Merritt. Of course, none of the shop in town has a radiator that fits my car. One had to be ordered in and it will be delivered the next morning.

Instead of stay overnight in Merritt, I took the Grey Hound back to Vancouver.

I went back to Merritt this morning for car. After a long drive, I am finally home with my 'Roo.
