Breakfast food

What kind of breakfast food do you like?

I like to eat a light meal most mornings. My favourite is Cereal. Nothing beat a bowl of cereal for simplicity and healthy. Couple with a cup of coffee, it would be a good start for me. Cereal is not greasy and it is good for you. I like my Speical K, Ceerios, Grape Nuts, or Oat Bran. A bowl of Grape Nuts is great for the cold mornings.

For the mornings that I feel like chinese food, nothing like having a bowl of hot congee and a plate of rice roll with soy sauce. They are absolutely delicious. They are rather filling as well. I can easily skip lunch or have something light; like a bowl of cereal.

Oatmeal--every morning--the real stuff, not instant. I used to have eggs and bacon or sausage every morning and my cholesterol was getting out of control. A good friend had to go in for a coronary bypass. Since eating oatmeal, he's dropped his cholesterol by half. I have my annual physical next month and I'm looking forward to seeing a similar result.
